Each Desert Schools member is an equal credit union owner with an equal vote for the Board of Directors. The Board sets polices that are implemented and maintained by Executive Management in ongoing operations. They also appoint a Supervisory Committee to ensure that the Board and Management abide by Desert Schools' written policy and that financial records are accurate.
